The midseason premiere is Sunday the 9th, and I'm just gonna write my thoughts about how things will go. Of course, there will be direct adaptations, remixed storylines, and new stuff completely as the show has done since the beginning.
Everything talked about will be up to Issue 120 and I'm assuming each season is 16 episodes.
What I expect for the rest of season 4
Everyone is scattered for at least 2 episodes after the prison assault. This is pretty much 100% going to happen. Carl takes care of Rick and is great.
L-R: Eugene, Abraham, Rosita |
The Marauders, I hope, will make an appearance.
Maggie or Beth tries to commit suicide.
Morgan and Carol come back. Seperately.
"Ben and Billy" storyline.
The Hunters |
being switched out, most likely Tyreese. This may be an early season 5 story.
Season finale: Aaron first appears and MAYBE a remixed Gabriel. Depends when the Hunters happen.
Season 5
Aaron gaining trust. They reach Alexandria.
Hilltop Colony |
Midseason finale: Massive herd, Jessie incident. Carl's serious injury (maybe? But I don't think so. Too little budget to do that)
Aftermath of that. "Where's Mom?". Relationships start forming some more.
Jesus around episode 10. Go to Hilltop Colony, trusting Jesus, Ethan incident.
Episode 15 (second last episode) is Rick's speech about living.
Season finale: The Saviors appear, fan-loved character is killed. MAYBE Issue 100 is adapted, but may be moved to season 6 premiere.
Season 6
Issue 100 may happen. New villain is introduced. Rick is told what's up. Alexandria attacked. Dwight is held captive then let go to be followed.
Basically this season will be Issue 100 till about 128.
"Wow."
I know. Pretty crazy. If you were spoiled and are mad at me, you only have yourself to blame, considering I had the warning up there.
By the time the season 6 finale rolls around, likely in March 2016, there will be another 3-ish seasons worth of comics to adapt. And of course, there will be new content, as the show has done since the beginning.
